If you’re feeling the effects of low thyroid function, you’re not alone. There are literally millions of people around the world today who are right where you are right now, feeling the burnout and struggling to get through another day.

Unless you know someone else who is also suffering from low thyroid symptoms, you probably feel like no one understands what you’re going through. It can be very frustrating when family members just don’t understand why you’re so tired and lethargic.

To everyone else you may look fine, but when you look in the mirror you know that what you see is changing rapidly. You can see the tiredness all over your face. It gets depressing when you know you’re starting to look a lot older than you should. You can see that the way you feel inside begins to show on your face. The dark circles under your eyes are getting worse, and honestly, it looks like you haven’t had a good night’s rest in a long time.

Having trouble sleeping is a problem that many people with a low thyroid have to deal with on a regular basis. This lack of sleep only adds more aging to your face and your entire body. Your body depends on a good night’s sleep to keep going, and when your nights are restless, your days are even worse.

When you sleep, your body goes through a healing and revitalizing process. Low thyroid function often increases tiredness by making it hard for you to sleep well. This makes your body feel deprived and therefore it will not function to its full potential.

Taking a sleeping pill is not the answer to your problem. You have to treat the root of your real problem before you start looking and feeling better.
