Royal Doulton Pretty Ladies HN1-100

This was the first line of Royal Doulton statuettes and was sometimes also known as the ‘Fair Ladies’. Whenever possible, I have included the figure’s name, model number, designers’ names, and year of production. Keep in mind that these pretty ladies are some of the rarest and most difficult to find royal doulton ladies you’ll ever come across and if you’re lucky enough to find one of these models at an auction or messy sale somewhere, then by God. You should bid / buy / haggle and do whatever it takes to get it because these rare real doulton collectible figures don’t show up very often!

The other option for finding these rare ceramic figurines is of course the auction house, but many of these hard-to-find real doulton figurines will not be available at auctions because they are in fact so rare. However, don’t be discouraged from trying, and if you become familiar with these and subsequent editions, auction houses often reveal valuable alternative models as well. You can find royal doulton auctions online on eBay, where the auction listings are updated hourly so they can change at any time, meaning if you don’t see treasure right away, please try again later. But it’s always better (and cheaper) to try to find them “offline” at car boot sales or clutter sales or even convenience stores.

Below you will find Royal Doulton’s ‘Pretty Ladies’ list from 1913-1938 along with their associated details. Any of these would fetch a high-zero figure at auction, so keep your eyes peeled!

You can see which HN model numbers refer to which years (and this usually directly correlates to value) on the website at the end of this free guide.
