Kuzhipaniaram porridge:
Requirements: Oats-1 cup, Banana-1: Cashew-1 Teaspoon: Sugar-3/4 cup: Cardamom-1 Teaspoon: Milk-1 cup: Ghee- 1 Teaspoon.
Method: Soak oats and cashews in milk and mash in mixie. Then add Banana and grind to make a nice paste. Add sugar and cardamom with the paste and mix well. Pour into Kuzhipaniaram tava with Ghee, fry until golden brown. It can be eaten together with pickled tomato. It will be the favorite dish of young people.
Mixed Carrot Chop:
Requirements: Carrot-200 gms, Large Onion-1, Green Peas-50 gms, Cheese-50 gms, Chili Powder-2 Teaspoons, Corn Flour-100 gms, Salt-Amount Required, For Frying-Ghee or Sunflower Oil .
Preparation: Peel the Carrot and the Onion and grate it. Cook Green peas, grated carrot. Mix the cornmeal and chili powder well and add grated cheese. Then add the cooked peas and the grated carrot and onion and make into small balls. Then put the tava on the gas stove on fire and press the balls into vadas and keep them in the hot pan. For ghee or oil for frying. After it turns a golden brown color, take out the chops and serve them with hot chili sauce or ketchup.
Payasam Carrot:
Requirements: Ooty Carrot Big -2, Milkmaid-1 cup, Sugar-11/2 cup, Cardamom Powder- 1 teaspoon, Cashew and Dried Grapes-10 pieces, Badam Essence-Little.
Preparation: Peel the carrot, grate it and cook it in a pressure cooker. Cool it sometime and grind it. Then to it in a frying pan and keep it on low heat. Add sugar until dissolved. Now add Milkmaid, cardamom powder and fried cashews and dried grapes. Once the payasam thickens, turn off the flame and add the badam essence. Mix it well, cool it and store it in the fridge. After cooling, serve it in a glass. It is very healthy too. . . . .
