No one ever told me I needed an under floor safe with a depository feature. In fact, I never knew such a thing existed. The cash business I had for about 10 years took a large amount of coins and bills on a daily basis and also withheld valuable financial information from customers on the site. This should have been kept in a safe overnight. The type of person looking to finance a drug hit should not have associated my busy business with cash and luckily I was never mugged or robbed, but to this day I shudder to think what could have happened.

A safe for your business?

Here’s some good advice right away! You’ll need a security safe if you’re running a cash business, period. It’s fair to say that most businesses won’t invest in one until a theft occurs. A brick and mortar business on Main Street will accept payment in the form of card, coin and bill payments and some customers may pay on account. While the checkout batch will deposit card payments at your bank, you can take the cash home overnight or leave it at the business to deposit the next morning, in an envelope, under a desk, or somewhere else. You are asking for a robbery to take place, either a mugging or a robbery. For this reason, you must have a top-of-the-line security measure and protect your business revenue. Skip taking this precaution and your day will come.

The best safe for your business

Which one or if you opt for both types has its advantages and disadvantages. In favor of the underfloor variety is that it remains hidden, takes up less space and of course it is fireproof if it is embedded in concrete. Although underfloor safes are very popular, they tend to be restricted in size and are not practical for storing certain items, such as cash registers. I like under floor safes because they are hidden.

delivery facility

An under floor safe with a cash delivery feature is called a Bank Safe. The cash deposit service allows money to be deposited until a reasonable person, such as a manager or owner, can reconcile the accommodation and deposit it in the bank. As cash accumulates throughout the day, a business may find it prudent to sweep out boxes of extra cash and place it in the safe. Once again, a built-in safe is very practical as it is concealed, does not take up space and is fireproof. Nightclubs, hotels and bars that stop operating late at night benefit from the security and simplicity of under-floor safes with a cash-drop function.
