Bramble is a runeword that is generally considered as a viable option for a specific build: necromancers who use poison abilities.

Level 15-21 Thorns Aura when equipped
Thorns is one of the paladin’s offensive auras. Any monster that deals melee damage to you, your minions, or any of your party members within range of the Aura of Thorns will take that damage multiple times.
The Necromancer who has minions will benefit from this Aura, but it would only be effective with Golem or Revives, as Skeletons die too easily, especially on Nightmare or Hell Difficulties.
It may seem like a good mod at first, but the damage returned by Thorns Aura is small compared to the disproportionately large amount of hit points that monsters possess on Nightmare and Hell Difficulty.
+50% faster hit recovery
+50% FHR is huge and great for melee fighters who require more % FHR to break their target break point.
The faster Hit Recovery % your character has, the faster they can snap out of the stun animation when hit. The faster your characters recover from an attack, the faster they can retaliate (or run away).
+25-50% to poison skill damage
Necromancers who use Poison Nova consider this mod to be the main attraction behind Bramble Runeword. The only downside to this mod for them is that the bonus is generated at a fairly variable value, with near perfects (45% and above) being highly sought after by the community.
Increases maximum mana by 5%
Regenerate Mana 15%
Witches can put points into Warmth, a fire skill that improves their mana recovery rate. Unfortunately, Necromancers don’t have a similar ability, but this is rectified with mods like Regenerate Mana, which can help them quickly recover Mana. so they can unleash more Poison Novas on the denizens of Hell.
+5% to maximum cold resistance
The default maximum for Resistances is 75%. Certain unique items (such as with the Bramble Runeword) can increase the maximum resistance by up to 95%.
Fire resistance +30%
Poison Resistance +100%
Bramble Runeword offers a healthy boost to fire resistance and a whopping +100% to poison resistance. When wearing body armor with Bramble Runeword, Poison Nova necromancers would only need a small increase in poison resistance from other elements to maximize this resistance.
Summary:
Bramble doesn’t offer much to most classes and builds, except perhaps for the big boost to Poison Resistance. However, for Poison Nova necromancers, it’s a viable option to consider.
