Stress is everywhere and in everything we face in our daily life. But that does not mean that life is miserable due to stress. It still depends on how you handle stress and how you cope with the situation that is stressing you out.

There are two types of stress: good and bad. Stress turns bad if you let it consume you. When you cannot do what you are supposed to do due to stress. But stress turns good when it makes you prosper more and helps you achieve your goal.

The main reason people get depressed and stressed is work and then the relationship.

Whatever your job, every once in a while you’ll get so stressed out that you probably think about quitting. But that’s not necessarily the way to deal with it, because the truth is, wherever you go, stress will follow.

Eric Jodoin, in his “Stress management in identification and coping mechanisms in the workplace”, mentioned the four types of stress that occur when one is a worker.

1. Time stress

You feel stressed because you have a lot of workloads coming in and yet you still have a ton of tasks to complete. You’re so focused on ticking the clock to meet your deadline, that you even work overtime and bring homework. You won’t get enough sleep, which will even make you more anxious and productive, which will again stress you out.

2. Anticipatory stress

It’s about the stress of thinking too much about what’s in store for you. You probably go for a promotion and your whole mind is there to forget what your current responsibility is in your current position.

3. Situational stress

When your business is about to close and you don’t know if you can easily get a new job. Or it is downgraded for inefficiency in its performance. Even a simple call from the manager due to a mistake is enough to stress you out.

4. I find stress

To better understand this, we can compare this type of stress with stage fright. The thought of speaking (or introducing) to other people, probably the client or the big bosses of your company, is stressing you out. Of course, who wouldn’t be? You are the owner of the company you work for, a mistake can be equated to firing you.

It is important to know the roots of your stress and the causes of your anxiety. That will be the only way to know how to deal with it. You cannot solve a problem without knowing what the problem is. Stress, anxiety, and depression can appear as small problems, but they can cause big NEGATIVE effects. There are signs for you to know how Know if you have anxiety, recognizing these signs would be the first step to becoming distressed.
