Next, we’ll stand near the edge of the beach and wait for the tide to come in. As the water reaches the beach, it squeezes the chicken feed bottle in a wide arc, thus forming the feed for the worms.
The next thing to do is watch carefully for the worms that will come to feed. Now, the characteristic feature to identify the location of these worms is the special formation of water that looks like a “V” pattern that occurs when the worms come close to feed and the water moves around their head to form that pattern.
Don’t look for them exactly where they came from, because these worms are very fast and can hide in the sand before you can catch them.
The key is to dig deep quickly where you see the “V” formations, and take the sand to a dry part of the beach and then spread the sand to catch the worms.
It’s a speed skill, and after you’ve done it a few times, you should be pretty fast.
