A man defends his honor by fighting and beating an opponent. A woman defends her honor by fighting unwanted suitors and saving her virginity for a partner of her choice. One of the biggest insults a man can use against another is claiming that his mother is sexually promiscuous.
Someone who has never had penetrative sex is called a virgin. Female virginity is valued by men due to the territorial nature of male sexuality. Men do not like to be compared to other male lovers. Men prefer an inexperienced lover so that they can focus on their own arousal. A woman with no sexual experience is more likely to accept anything a man offers her without hesitation because she has no expectations of other men.
Young women are often insecure. They may give in to persistent attempts by men to have sex with them only to find that they are later disrespected. Married women know that their husbands always want more sex than they are willing to offer. They also know that men are attracted to women throughout the day, regardless of any relationship. Therefore, women do not always feel that their efforts to please and satisfy their partner’s sexual needs are respected.
Some women enjoy casual sex and are happy to have superficial sexual contacts just for fun and for the ego. They like to chat or have a romantic dinner. Sex is a small price to pay. They have sex when they want to. They can go weeks without sex and no one notices. A wife does not have this luxury. Women who are in relationships with men have sex much more frequently and regularly than women who have casual sex. This is one of the injustices that women face. Promiscuous women consider themselves more sexual than loyal women.
Logically, since men themselves are tempted by promiscuity, one might expect men to look favorably on promiscuous women. But the opposite is true, men do not like women who are sexually easy. They suspect that she is having sex with them for the benefits (like having paid dates).
Many men pay for the maintenance of other men’s progeny without even knowing it. Apart from using a DNA test, a man cannot tell whether a child is his or not. If a woman is less sexually compliant, she is more likely to be loyal to a man. The problem with this approach is that it also means that a woman is less compliant with all men, including her husband.
A man wants a woman to be excited about sex, but only with him. A man marries a sexually unadventurous woman because he appreciates the benefit of her love for him. In the long term, women have sex with a man they love. But this love has nothing to do with reaching orgasm.
Women have two main reasons for having sex. Some women who have sex solely for personal gain without any emotional ties. They have sex for money or for personal ego. The second motivation is, of course, the romantic love that leads to marriage. Women do not have sex to enjoy sexual release and pleasure, otherwise they would pay for sex as men do. Women rarely have sex with more than one man at a time. Women cheat when their current relationship is emotionally unsatisfying or when they hope to improve their lifestyle with a more successful man.
The most prominent sexual behavior of women is their desire to please men. Some women suggest that they use men for sex. Women use men to earn money or to gain some other advantage, such as career advancement or marriage. They also provide arousal like boasting orgasm to satisfy your own ego or that of a lover. Female promiscuity has nothing to do with a woman’s responsiveness. A woman cannot use a man’s body to enjoy sexual arousal and liberation in the same way that a man can use a woman’s body.
Not all men (especially if they are married) appreciate the approach of an attractive woman. Women are not usually sociable with men they do not know. So a man suspects that his motives are sexual. You may feel pressured by your own assumption that sexual performance is expected of you.
Sex is first and foremost a male biological need that, at least for some men, any woman can satisfy. A woman can be described as an evil temptress just because she is attractive to men. We speak of women of pleasure or of sinful women. It’s not that women are inherently bad (or that they enjoy sexual pleasure), but their bodies tempt men to have illicit sexual ties, leading to social problems like unwanted pregnancies and broken marriages.
If women saw sex as men see it, they would be pregnant all the time. For reproductive reasons, a woman can make a conscious decision about who to mate with. Women have no reason to want to have sex and there are many reasons not to want it. It is only when a woman is attracted to a man and feels an emotional connection that she feels naturally willing to have sex. This desire is more emotional and romantic than erotic.
