Over the weekend, I received an email from a woman who was hoping to get pregnant in the next few months. However, she not only wanted to get pregnant, she wanted to get pregnant with a baby boy or have a son. She told me that she was willing to sacrifice a few tries this month if it meant that she would have a better chance of conceiving a child on the days that she did something to have sex and finally conceive. But, she didn’t really know when these “optimum days” were. She asked me, “Is there a particular day of the month that is better than others for conceiving a male or male child?” I will share the answer I gave you in the following article.

What are the optimal days during the month for the pregnancy of a male baby?: Sometimes when I get this question, it seems like people expect me to tell them that they should conceive during a certain week, a certain day, or a specific date during the month (for example, the 15th). Other times, I find that people expect me to point to a date related to the phases of the moon or something. In fact, none of these things are as important as when you conceive in relation to when you ovulate. Let me explain this further.

If you want a baby boy, you will need to enter at the end of the cycle. When I say “cycle,” I mean your fertility ovulation cycle, not your menstrual cycle. People very often confuse them. Often people tell me that they are going to try to conceive a couple of weeks into their menstrual cycle or after their monthly period ends. When I ask them how they know this is in fact when they’re ovulating, they often can’t connect the dots. In short, you don’t know why I ask you this.

The reason I ask is because the optimal days to conceive a boy occur on the day of ovulation or the day immediately after. There is a long and drawn out reason for this, but to make the explanation short, I will just say that the life cycle of the boy’s sperm is short, so it is in their interest if you start later. This will allow them to be represented in greater numbers on the way to the egg.

So if you’re trying to conceive two weeks into your menstrual cycle, but you haven’t ovulated yet, or you’ve ovulated several days early, then you could be a long way from your most promising days for childbearing. You could even greatly increase your chances of conceiving a girl if you were that far away. So your best bet is to get a very reliable ovulation predictor and wait until you get a positive result and then just try to conceive on this day and the next. And it doesn’t matter if this day is towards the end of the month or somewhere in between. It doesn’t matter if the moon is new or if the day is Tuesday. The only thing that really matters is that you ovulated.

How PH plays in his time: Before finishing this article, I also want to mention its PH and acidity. Because I just discussed timing as it relates to designing a child, but there are other important considerations I haven’t mentioned yet. One of these is PH. The reason I bring this up is that a high PH is just as detrimental to male sperm as it is to conceive late in the fertility cycle. So if you’re acidic or have a high PH, you’ll want to fix this. PH test strips, a special diet of alkaline foods, and special douches can help you achieve this.
