The newest movie within the Marvel Comics series will be released and a large part of its fans are already looking forward to it. Self-proclaimed genius, playboy, billionaire, and philanthropist Tony Stark now has a strong enemy in the evil Mandarin. In the upcoming Marvel movie, Iron Man’s quest puts a different spin on his previous displays of power and antics, testing his courage to the limit. Stark discovers the limit of his scruples and traits as he desperately tries to hold on to the ones he loves.
This latest trailer shows Tony Stark fully kitted out inside his upgraded armor along with his array of gadgets powered by the newest technologies in the upcoming film, Iron Man 3. Producer of the film would be none other than Marvel Studios, in close association with both DMG Entertainment and Paramount Pictures, with the distribution element handled by Walt Disney Studios. Iron Man is the Marvel Comics character and Iron Man 3 is a sequel to both of their successful predecessors – both of which were hugely successful after his first appearance.
For those who are interested in a bit of history on this series, Tony Stark and his alter ego emerged quite a long time ago in 1963 in Marvel’s Tales of Suspense #39 and grew in popularity after that. Due to the number of fans and the awareness created, this particular superhero quickly got his own solo comic called The Invincible Iron Man and the initial issue became available in May 1968.
The story begins like this. Tony Stark, who was a widely known billionaire, had been kidnapped and then forced to build a powerful weapon for his captors. With a little help, he was able to develop a powerful armor that allowed him to escape. Still, this came at a price and he was badly injured in the chest area. Through his Stark Industries firm, Tony would eventually develop multiple military weapons and technological devices to integrate into his armored suit. The particular suit helped him fight crimes like terrorism and other types of asymmetric warfare. Being widely known as a superhero icon long before the release of his first film in May 2008, there was little doubt about his future achievement.
In less than 2 years, the sequel was released and shown in theaters around the world. In this particular movie, his identity was finally discovered and the US government wanted him to share his scientific breakthroughs, but he refused to do so. Meanwhile, Ivan Vanko also began producing his own technologies as well as Stark’s. Ivan Vanko is the son of Anton Vanko, the business partner of Stark’s father Howard, who along the way had a series of conflicts with the Starks and ended up poor. Despite Anton Vanko’s own actions resulting in dire consequences for him and his family members, Ivan Vanko proceeded to seek blind revenge against the Stark family.
